 “I hate to plug a product, but this works well, and I think it deserves credit …” Bryan, of Lake Charles. This bait works well and is fun to fish with. And I usually hate fishing with a cork. I had a speck on the first cast seconds after the bait hit the water. The way the rig is weighted makes it easy to see and kept it virtually tangle free on every cast. My dad fished a rig of his own and although he caught fish on it the rig just didn't perform as well as the Speculizer. Now it isn't rocket science but for someone who isn't used to fishing a sliding cork or rigging one up it was money well spent. Thanks Redbone. I matched his catch stopping only to move the shrimp tail back onto the hook when trout and reds slammed the tail. Will have to replace two shrimp tails tomorrow morning after I clean the catch. We arrived at Battledorf reef at 9:00 a.m. and had 50 trout 1 1/2 to 2#s (by the way checked & weighed by LW&F) by 9:30 a.m. Most were caught on speculizer, like two to one compared to live shrimp.
