Spending a lot of time around t-tops, I recognized that it was a logical extension to have the capability to provide custom aluminum fabrication. To that end, I investigated the craft, and purchased the "basics". From those humble beginnings, the operation has snowballed.
I now offer a full-service operation, although still on a part-time basis. After my retirement from the state, in January of 2003, Mariner's Tops & Canvas became a full-time venture.
What's included under the umbrella name of "tops & canvas"? Marine aluminum fabrication comes in many forms, but the structures that are familiar to most, are the following: t-tops, half-towers, leaning posts, poling platforms, radar arches, wakeboard arches, and handrails. There is also a wide variety of custom accessories, that can be TIG-welded or clamped to the basic structure.
Accessories include: outrigger mounts, antenna and radar bases, rod holders, lights and specialty handrails.
