Robert Campo

Shell Beach, LA USA

Today marks a new day in Louisiana History. On this day July 5,2010, just 5 days shy of 2 anniversary of my Grandfather Frank "Blackie" Campos death....not only are we sadden from his death, we are now sadden for fight that we are losing with the oil spill. As of today ALL fishing commercial and recreational was closed. With this I would like to take a minute and Thank each and everyone of you who over the years supported our Marina. It was due to you our great supporters that made Campos such a special place to bring your family and friends to fish. Our Family business started in 1903, and with any luck and lots of prayers we'll be back to serve you in the near future. So, it seems that we will be set back for sometime. At this point all we can do is pray for the best and we all know that only time will tell what the future holds. Just please remember this it was our greatest pleasure serving you and making ever lasting friendships. If in time we are able to fish again you can look for us to be back on the map to once again serve the wonderful people that made our business such a great place to be.

With very heavy hearts we Thank You,
Robert, Michael, Mable and F.J. Campo
