From the New Orleans business district:
- Get onto I-10 heading east
- Stay on I-10 till you reach I-510, which is the Chalmette Exit 246A at Paris Road
- Go south to Judge Perez Highway (LA 39), a four-lane highway for 8.7 miles. There are three gas stations on the corners
- Take a left onto Judge Perez Hwy.
- Continue about 8.4 miles till you reach a yellow caution light at State Hwy. 46, then, turn left
- Continue down the highway for about 7.5 miles to a large stop sign and the red blinking light. There is a convenience store on the left-hand corner
- Take a left, then go approximately five miles, cross over the bridge
- Take a left toward Shell Beach. Blackie Campo’s boat launch is one mile from the bridge.
