Brian's Bayou Adventures, and is living the dream he has harbored since childhood. He sold the old aluminum V-hull, and now runs a state-of-the-art Kenner bay boat with a 225 hp Mercury EFI. And not surprisingly, he is making the runs to Black Bay and Breton Sound a heck of lot quicker. "The entire lower Mississippi Delta is an amazing place," he said."It is only rivaled by two other places in the world - the Nile Basin, and the Amazon Basin." With the peak speckled trout season getting ready to shift into high gear, Epstein has been busy booking trips. From May to September, with peaks in June and July, big specks swarm in Black Bay and Breton Sound. But he loves Delacroix because of the many different habitats that can be fished in virtually any condition. "That's what I love the most about it," he said. "You can always catch fish somewhere. There's plenty of shell bottoms, shelves, deep
bayous. And there always seems to be reds somewhere in the ponds."Guests with Capt. Brian are guaranteed the fishing experience of a lifetime. In addition to being one of the most qualified guides in southeast Louisiana, Epstein keeps his excursions interesting with his knowledge of the indigenous marine life and waterfowl. And all guests will be able to meet Luna, rumored to be the only fish-finding dog in the country. Epstein has three boats available for charter, and he still has dates
available during the peak season for monster speckled trout. For a Bayou
Adventure you'll never forget, call Capt. Brian at (504) 284-3316.
