SHELL BEACH IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!!!
Fall fishing is here y'all and it is on FIRE!!!! This past weekend I have seen more limits on specs and reds than I have all summer! We had two of patrons, Danny Kingston and his son from Baton Rouge, left Campo' Marina at 9:00am on Saturday and returned back at 11:00am with 50 trout and a handfull of reds! In just two hours they were back! I'm telling you, the fishig is just incredible right now!
Lake Borgne has turned on and the fisherman have taken advantage of it! BIG TIME! Also, the Biloxi Marsh is producing massive amounts of specs and reds! All the usual hot spots have been producing plenty of fish! Places such as Stump Lagoon, Crooked Bayou, and Lake Eugene areas have been just awesome! All the bayous along Lake Borgne from Jankie's Ditch all the down the east shoreline to Bayou Biloxi have been producing plenty of fish!
The fishing is real easy right now so y'all have got to come out to Campo's Marina in Shell Beach and take advantage of this awesome fishing! At Campo's, we have two backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the best live shrimp around! If you are new to the area, my father, my brother, and I will be glad to point you in the right direction! And remember when your at Campo's you're not just fishermen, you're family!
We appreciate your business!!!
Thanks, The Campo's; Mabel, FJ, Michael, and Robert

Its been a while since I last posted a report so its time for another one!
For starters, the fishing has been on fire! Bay Eloi has been one area that many anglers have been catching plenty, plenty specs! The rocks, the rigs by Dead Man Island, and the rigs in the Morgan Harbor areas have all been producing plenty specs! Also, we have had some anglers fish the Lake Machias and Black Bay areas and return with success!
There are plenty of fish out there right now! As long as there is a little tide movement, clean water, and lights winds, you are almost guaranteed fish!
Come on down to Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! We have two backdown rampos, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! We have some of the best live shrimp and croakers around for only 25 cents a piece! Y'all come on down to Campo's where you're not just customers, you're family!
We appreciate your business!

Dear Paw Paw Blackie, Today July 10Th marks the one year anniversary of your passing. In this pass year we, I mean F.J., Michael and myself Robert have done just what you asked us to do. First to take care of our Grandmother and we have done just that, second thing was to keep your legacy alive, loud and proud and we are doing a damn good job of that so far. I felt like it was appropriate to write you this letter, because if there was a Rod-n-Reel.com in heaven I would want you to be able to read this. Boy I tell ya, In my 40 years I have seen alot of people pass away. But,never have I seen someone missed as much as you, paw-paw. Every morning I walk across to the bayou to open up I still look over my shoulder to see if you are walking behind me to start another day. But even though you are not there in person I still feel your loving caring spirit is still here with us everyday. I wish I could see you fishing with St. Peter and St.Paul in that big lake in heaven. One thing is for sure I have always read about those two guys but in my book I have gotten to know only one saint and that was you Paw-Paw. P.S. I know we will never be able to look into those beautiful blue eyes again and tell you how much all of us love and miss you, but just so you know, Grandmother, F.J. , Kenny and all of your grandchildren and great grandchildren are dong fine. Zack is still reeling in the black drum and winning the fishing rodeos down in Shell Beach, what a chip off the old block! Oh, and your New Orleans Saints that you love so much are still the AINTS!
LOVE YA! MISS YOU! R.I.P Love, ROBERT

Late weekend report from the BEACH!
Firt off, we at Campo's Marina would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone from coming out and fishing out of Campo's Marina! We also want to thank everyone from the Proctor's Landing Fishing Rodeo for doing business with us Campo's! We know y'all had a great time and we are glad we were able to help!
On Saturday, the winds blew out of the West, but fish were still caught! The Breton Sound area was a little dirty, however, big specs were still caught! Bay Eloi has been producing large amounts of specs! Our local charter captains have been smoking the specs in this area.
On Sunday, we did not have many fishermen out, but the ones that did caught specs in Bay Eloi and inside the double rocks!
Lake Borgne has been a little slow. However, the specs that are being caught are top quality specs! Today, we had a fisherman left out of Campo's about 1:00pm and was back at Campo's with a limit of reds and 15 specs in less than 2 hours! So you can't give up all hope on the inside areas!
Again, us Campo's appreciate the business and we hope to see you in the morning!
Thanks, The Campo's; Mabel, FJ, Michael, Robert, Blake, and Wesley

Today started off another hot day down by the beach. Campo's Marina hosted the 5Th Annual Knight's of Nemesis Fishing rodeo to hook a kid on fishing. The lil Campo's; Zack, Colby, and Nicholas did a fine job of sweeping the Black Drum category and never burned a drop of gas. Congrats guys, good job!! Now for the fishing report; Breton Sound and Bay Eloi were hot, quite a few limits of specks mixed with some white trout were caught today. As for inshore around Lake Borne, not too many fish caught due to the North wind this morning, but hopefully the winds will turn in our favor and the fishing will pick back up! We would like to thank everyone who participated in the Knights of Nemesis rodeo today, and we apologize to anyone who was inconvenienced by today's event, it was pretty crazy! Remember, we are the only place to guarantee our bait to catch fish or die trying. We have two back down ramps, live bait, ice, gas, diesel, and plenty of friendly advice!
Thank you, The Campo's; Mrs. Mabel, FJ, Michael, Robert, Blake, and Wesley

Weekend report from the BEACH!!!
Plenty of specs were caught on Saturday! The rocks, Bay Eloi, and the Breton Sound surronding areas produced plenty of specs! The Black Bay area has also been on fire! Some of our anglers fished Stone Island and Lake Machias and returned with great success! Plenty of BEAUTIFUL specs were bagged in these areas!
For the inshore report, Lake Borgne has produced HUGE specs, but not many limits. One of our patrons, who is known as "Mr. Weasel," caught 15 specs by the old naval base and they were all over 3 pounds! The fish were absolutely beautiful! One tip about fishing by the old navy base is that it takes a lot of patience. If you're willing to wait it out, you are almost guaranteed beautiful specs!
Today was a little slow! Not many fish were caught. The tide was running one way and the wind was blowing the other, which made it hard for anglers to find clean water and the FISH! However, my next door neighbor and his fishing buddy did manage to bag 27 specs, 6 drum, and 2 reds out of Delacroix Island. Today was just on of those days where the fishing was just tough!
I just want to thank everyone who came out to Campo's this weekend! I want to apologize for our bait shortage. The shrimp were small, but sometimes a small shrimp on the hook is better than no shrimp on the hook. Today, however, my brother Michael and my nephew Blake did manage to find some nice shrimp so the bait should be nice for next weekend. Again, I want to apologize for the bait shortage and I just want to let everyone know that we are so greatful for your business!
Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and live shrimp and croakers! Our live bait is still only 25 cents a piece with the Campo's guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come on down to Campo's Marina where you're not just fishermen, your family!
We greatly appreciate your business!
Thanks, The Campo's: Mabel, FJ, Michael, Robert, Blake, and Wesley
P.S. Next weekend is the Knights of Nemesis Fishing Rodeo at Campo's Marina! Y'all come out for a great time!

Today's report from Shell Beach smokin hot. What a speck-tacular day it was! Bay Eloi and Breton Sound produced many limits of specks and reds ranging from 3lb-6lbs and monster reds, weather was great despite reports from Uncle Bob Breck! This weekend, we at Campo's Marina hosted the 14th Annual Rummel Alumni Rodeo with results far exceeding the expected. We would like the thank the Alumi and participants of the Rummel Rodeo for coming back home the Shell Beach to continue the tradition of such a well organized event, GREAT JOB! With the 14 year standing record being broken, our own Zack Campo caught a 43.10oz Black Drum off the dock of Campo's Marina, GREAT JOB ZACK! Aside from the rodeo, we had beautiful weather for fishng and family outings which made for a great weekend on the water. So remember, come on down to Campo's, we pride ourselves on treating our customers like family and not just a number, we are the only place that backs our bait with the gaurentee to catch fish or die trying. We have two back downs, live shrimp, live croackers, ice, gas, diesel, and friendly family service. Hope to see ya in the A.M.

Today was one of those perfect, You don't even have to think about it days, you just headed straight to Bay Eloi. Man what a Speck-tacular day it was! Limits were caught early and that made the day even better, you had your limit and beat the heat...Cause you were back in my Noon. Guys and Gals it just don't get any better that this. It seems that the bait of choice was live shrimp and crocker's. You do not always have to listen to the weather reporters, just follow your heart and now that school is out put the kids in the boat and head out for a great day on the water, this will be time very well spent. So, remember this we are open 7 days a weeks at 5 AM SHARP and we will be looking for ya!!

So don't forget this, A bad day of fishing still beats a good day at work. So, come on down and see us at CAMPO'S we'll be waiting for ya!
Campos has two back down ramps, ice, gas, diesel crokers and live shrimp DAILY!!!!

Hello anglers!!!
I know its been a while since I last posted a report, but I am going to start posting regularly since the weather and especially the fishing is warming up!!!!
Plenty specs have been caught close to house on a South wind. We had a few anglers catch some beautiful specs early in the morning by the fort and old navy base and pilings. Also, Bay Eloi is starting to heat up!!! We had a lot of anglers catch limits of specs on Campo's live cockahoes in the Bay Eloi area! The fishing is starting to really heat up at the BEACH so come on down!
I also want to tell you all about the LIVE BAIT bill that us live bait catchers and live bait users are trying to pass. House Bill 299 is a bill that the live bait catchers and live bait users are in extreme favor to pass through state legislature. Basically, we are trying to make it possible for anglers to fish with LIVE SHRIMP and CROAKERS for May 1st!!!! It will not hapen this year but we are pushing for it to happen for the 2010 summer fishing season! So call up your Senators and Representatives to make sure we are able to get a little stimulus package of our own! Thanks you guys! Your vote counts!
Come on down to Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and live cockahoes. We will have live shrimp we the shrimp season starts again! Y'all come on down to the BEACH for a first class fishing experience! At Campo's Marina, you're not just fishermen, you're family!

Hello my fishermen!
I know it been a while since I posted a report, but things have just been crazy for us Campo's for the last few months. Things are looking good for the future, especially for recreational fishing.
Steady amounts of fish have been being caught in the Biloxi marsh as well as the surrounding spots along Lake Borgne. The weather is starting to warm up and so is the fishing.
Now I know most of you all know that the shrimp season has closed, but we do have live cochahoes. I hope you all can come down and see us soon. Come on down to the BEACH for some fast, friendly service where you're not just fishermen, you're family!
We appreciate your business!

I would like to wish each and every one a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New year. My family and I would also like to Thank you for another great year of great talks and wonderful stories. This has been a very hard year for my family, after the loss of our Grandfather we were not sure how to pick ourselves up and go on with out him but, of course as he always did he left us the greatest gift. He left us with the wisdom that he had instilled in us and we took from that wisdom and were able find what we needed in each other.... and that to me is the greatest gift of all. I would like to wish Blackie a very Merry Christmas, I know that he is no longer with us but, I also know that he is looking down on us and smiling with his beautiful blue eyes. So, with that said I would once again like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year.
We will not be open Christmas Day but, we will be open the day after. So, come on down give all of your new toys a try. The fish are biting in all your winter time favorite spots. Thanks, The Campos P.S. We still have plenty of live shrimp.

Great day at the BEACH!!!
Just as I suspected this morning, today was a great day to be fishing! We had people back with limits before 8:00am! The east shoreline of Lake Borgne was on fire! Places such as Bayou Sue, Jankie's Ditch, Little Bayou, Bayou Zig Zag, and Bayou Grande all produced PLENTY speckled trout!
Stump Lagoon and the rest of the Biloxi Marsh produced plenty fish, as well! We had some anglers that did very well in the back of Stump Lagoon and returned with a mixed bag of speckled trout, redfish, drum, sheephead, and some flounders! The fish are biting, so come on down!
Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! The bite is on so come on down to St. Bernard! Hope to see y'all soon!

Winds don't stop the BITE again!
LIMITS, LIMITS, LIMITS!!!
The speckled trout were eating up today! The Biloxi marsh produced plenty, plenty speckled trout and PLENTY sheephead! Stump Lagoon was on fire! Plenty of our anglers did very well back there today! Also, Bayou St. Malo produced limits of speckled trout, as well! Our close friend, "Big Chris," got'em again! He and his son Lil' Chris were back at the dock with a quick limit of 50 specs! Chris, keep up the good work my friend! See you next Sunday!
The sheephead are just feeding like crazy! I can tell you, sheephead tastes DAM GOOD! So if the trout bit is not working, catching sheephead is not a bad choice and they are easy to catch and find! All you need to do is go to the deep holes in the back of Muscle Bay, around "Uncle Joe's" and Bayou Leroy, with a piece of dead shrimp on the bottom ,and I can guarantee you'll catch one every cast! Remember, something on the line is better than nothing! Yeh, sheephead are a pain in the ass to clean, but its worth when its on your dinner plate!
The fish are out there guys, so come on down to Campo's Marina in Shell Beach for some great fishing! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come on down and we'll point you in the right direction! Winds can't stop the bite at the BEACH!!!
Today the winds were blowing about 30 mph, but fish were still caught in the Biloxi marsh! One of our patrons and good friend, Mr. Bill McCrary, went to the Muscle Bay area and caught 50 trout with his wife Sharron! This just proves that winds do match up to the bite of the fish in the Biloxi marsh.
The fish are out there guys, so come on down to Campo's Marina in Shell Beach for some great fishing! Quick report from the BEACH!!!
Plenty fish are being caught right now! This past weekend was great and so was the last few days! We did not have that many anglers but the ones that did get out caught good! The fall fishing is turning into winter fishing! The fish are going to start getting down into those deep holes in the Biloxi marsh! Plenty sheephead are going to start showing up and remember anything on the line is better than nothing!
The normal spots have been producing good numbers like Stump Lagoon, Lake Eugene, Muscle Bay, and Pete's Lagoon!
Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach for some great fishing! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come on down to Campo's for some fast, friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family! Hope to see y'all soon!

Weekend report from the BEACH!
Plenty fish were caught this weekend! The east shoreline of Lake Borgne produced plenty specs! The Biloxi marsh was also on fire! Plenty specs were caught in the Muscle Bay, Stump Lagoon, and Lake Engene areas! Today one of our patrons who we call "Big Chris" caught 50 trout in his honey hole in Bayou St. Malo on the east shoreline of Lake Borgne! Good job my friend! Also Capt. Johnny Nunez caught over 100 specs in the Muscle Bay area!
There are plenty fish out there right now so come on down to Campo's marina in Shell Beach! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the best live bait around! Come on down for some fast, friendly service and where you're not just friends, you're family! Hope to see y'all soon!
My Grandpa Blackie always use to say when things got tough and that was to "Fish On!" Capt. Bbarry Brecthel always use to say to do things "Bigfish style!" So I just want to put the words of two great fishermen of South Louisiana together. When the fishing gets tough, in the words of these two great men, "Fish on, Bigfish style!"
I just want to again send my condolences to Barry's wife, Pam, his three children, and the whole staff at Breton Sound Marina. God Bless you all!

Mainly the Stump Lagoon, Lake Eugene, Muscle Bay, and Pete's Lagoon areas were the hot spots! All fish were caught about 2 feet under a cork using Campo's live shrimp!
I guess Captain Barry was with all the anglers today! God Bless you, Barry!

I just can't believe we lost another great one....I heard the news about Mr. Barry earlier today all the way in Austin, TX. Mr. Barry was a great fisherman that I, even at 19 years old, had great respect for. This summer my great-grandfather, Blackie Campo, passed away and Mr. Barry would come to Shell Beach, even though he didn't have to, to come and lend a hand anyway possible to our family.
I'll never forget speaking with staring at my grandfather casket. He tolding me with tears in his eyes, "Its going to be OK, Blake. Your great-grandfather was a great man who lived a great life. You should be proud to have been in his life."
Well, I can tell you that Mr. Barry, like my great-grandfather, was a great man who lived a great life and his family and friends should be proud to have been in his life.
Mr. Barry will be deeply missed in the recreational fishing buiness in St. Bernard Parish and my condolences go out to his family and Mr. Glenn and Johnathan at Brenton Sound Marina.

Barry Brechtel- What a Great businessman and Friend.I learned this about him during the time that my Grandfather was at his worst. Barry would find the time during his very busy day to come down are call just to check on my family. This year has been a really hard year for myself and my family, But, we know that Blackie and Barry will be together and are now able to share the stories that they have....
My very deepest regrets go out to the BSM staff and to Barry's family. I was very upset and in disbelief when I was told of his accident. It is very hard to loss someone at an old age but, it's much harder to loss someone at a young age. I hope that his family can find some comfort in knowing that My grandfather (BLACKIE) is up there and waiting for him.... Barry will be very well taking care of.
I an truly sorry for this tragic loss,
Robert Campo Campos Marina

Three day report from the BEACH!!!
Sorry I haven't been posting for the last few days...I've been dredging oysters by myself for the last few days without a deckhand so I've been extremely busy and tired!
The weather has been great for the past few days along with the fishing! The fishermen have just been smoking the speckled trout in the Biloxi marsh! Plenty specs have been caught in places such as Stump Lagoon, Pete's Lagoon, Bayou Cut Off, Lake Eugene, and Muscle Bay! The east shoreline of Lake Borgne has been producing plenty limits of speckled trout due to the great weather we have been having!
However, a cold front is coming through tonight and tomorrow so that will kind of mess things up with the high winds! But this front will bring down some ducks with it! For all my DUCK HUNTERS that do not have a private lease, the Biloxi marsh is holding a good amount of ducks so come on down and give it a shot! I'm sure you will be able to find so ducks that will make it worth your wild!
Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come and see us at Campo's for some fast, friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family!

Not many fish were caught along the shoreline of Lake Borgne, but the Biloxi marsh was the place to be today!
We hope to see y'all at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach!

TWO DAY REPORT FROM the BEACH!!!
FRIDAY: Plenty limits of speckled trout were caught yesterday! My brother Eric made a second trip with close family friend, Mike Hanemann, and his colleages and ended the day early with 84 speckled trout from the east shoreline of Lake Borgne! They fished Bayou Sue and the Bayou Grande surrounding areas! One of our close friends and charter captains, Capt. Rory, fished the rigs in the Lake Borgne and returned to Campo's Marina with 120 speckled trout! We also had some anglers fish the Biloxi marsh and they did very well!
TODAY was a little different because we only had one fisherman that left out of Campo's this morning! It was another long time friend who we call "Big Chris." He and his two buddies fished Bayou St. Malo and Bayou Musselini and caught 75 speckled trout, 1 white trout, 4 sheephead, and 2 redfish! They had a great day fishing using Campo's live shrimp! Thanks again Chris for coming back and seeing us time after time! And also, all of us Campo's want to thank you for being such a good friend to us! See you next time, my friend!
Plenty fish are being caught at Shell Beach so come on down and see us at Campo's Marina! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come and see us at Campo's for some fast friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family!

Just a PICTURE PERFECT DAY at the BEACH!!!
LIMITS, LIMITS, and LIMITS!
Today was a just a great day to be fishing! It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Limits of speckled trout were caught everywhere today! The whole east shoreline of Lake Borgne was on fire! Places such as Bayou Sue, Little Bayou, Bayou Grande, and Bayou Zig Zag all produced plenty limits for all of our anglers! Even my brother Eric took time off of working on Yamaha outboard motors and decided to make a fishing trip. He left Shell Beach at about 10:30am and returned at 1:30 with his limit of specs! All of his fish were caught on the east shoreline of Lake Borgne using Campo's live shrimp!
The Biloxi marsh was also on fire today! All of the usual spot such as Stump Lagoon, Pete's Lagoon, Muscle Bay, and Lake Eugene all produced limits of specs and reds today!
I'm telling you all, they have plenty, PLENTY speckled trout down here right now! The reason I know this is because today, while I was dredging for oysters behind Dead Man Island, I was catching speckled trout in the oyster dredge! The trout are just thick! If you find a place where there is a shell or oyster reef on the bottom, make sure you mark that on your GPS because the fish will be there!
The fishing was HOT today, but I think this front is going to make things bad for the weekend. However, if you do happen to get a chance to fish this weekend, we would really appreciate your business! Y'all come and see us! We'll point you in the right direction, I promise!
Come on down and see us at the BEACH!!! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come and see us at Campo's for some fast friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family!

The fishing is hot at the BEACH!!!
Today, plenty fish were caught by the rocks in the MRGO down by Lebeuf's Cut! Also, one of our regulars at Campo's Marina, Mr. John Lewis, left the trout biting by Bayou Sue and Bayou Pedro on the east shoreline of Lake Borgne! our other anglers caught plenty fish in Bayou St. Malo, Little Bayou, and Blind Lagoon! We also had some anglers do really well in the Biloxi marsh this morning! They fish are biting boys, so come on down and get'em!
For my DUCK HUNTERS: We had no duck hunters this morning, but our fishermen did report back to us that they heard alot of shooting in the Biloxi marsh management area this morning! This is a great sign! If your intersted in hunting this area, its probably a great idea! Come on down and see us!

Well the winds did not stop the bite and quack today!
Plenty fish were caught today on the east shoreline of Lake Borgne! The winds were blowing out of the NE at about 15mph, but the bite was on at around noon until dark! Our close friend, Mike Hanemann, caught his limit of specs today on the east shorline of Lake Borgne! He has been pretty consist lately! I guess all those years of fishing with my grandfather, Blackie, actually paid off! We love you MIKE!
We also had one special guy who pulled a DOUBLE-WHAMMY! This guy managed to kill his limit of ducks this morning in the Biloxi marsh and then managed to catch 25 specs just minutes from his hunting spot! Awesome day of hunting in fishing in Biloxi marsh!
Come on down and see us at the BEACH!!! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come and see us at Campo's for some fast friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family!

Great day of fishing in the SHELL BEACH surrounding areas!!!
Plenty fish were caught by the rocks along the MRGO right close by Campo's Marina! Also, plenty fish were caught in the Biloxi marsh! The spots are the usual including Stump Lagoon, Lake Eugene, and Muscle Bay!
Look, I know its been getting a little colder, but like I've been saying THEY STILL HAVE SPECS IN BAY ELOI!!! Today I had 2 guys leave with 100 Campo's live shrimp and head to the second cement rig in Bay Eloi. They return with a quick 50 from the Bay Eloi! Now, even I was surprised, but I never doubted it! They got fish down here boys! Come on down and get'em!
For all my DUCK HUNTERS out there, I just want to let y'all know that the Biloxi Marsh management area is holding a good amount of ducks, mostly big ducks! We had alot of hunters launch at Campo's and they all returned with smiles! Not many of them killed limits, but they have not been going home empty handed! So if you are thinking about hunting down this way, the signs are good!
Come on down and see us at the BEACH!!! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come and see us at Campo's for some fast friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family!

Man was the weatherman wrong today! He called for 12-20's, but it was 0mph at the BEACH this morning! The wind did not start picking up until about 10am, but fish were caught today!
The east shoreline and the pilings in the front (old naval base) produced plenty fish early. When the wind picked up, the fishermen moved to Biloxi marsh and caught plenty more specs, reds, sheephead, drum, and flounders. Later on this evening, plenty fish were caught on the west shoreline from Lebeuf's Cut to Proctor's Point. All fish were caught using Campo's live shrimp!
Yesterday was a great to fish! Plenty fish were caught close to Campo's Marina! Fish were caught by the pilings of the old navy base and the whole east shoreline! The Biloxi marsh also produced plenty fish yesterday, as well.
As most of y'all know already, today kicked off the beginning of a great duck season! The Biloxi marsh has a good amount of birds, mostly big ducks! Today, a patron and good friend of my nephew, Nicky Campos, killed 9 grey ducks quick and early from the Biloxi marsh! So for all of y'all hunters thinking about trying the Biloxi marsh, its just minutes from Campo's Marina and is holding plenty birds!
Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! We have two back downs, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come on down for some fast friendly service and where you're not just customers, you're family!

TWO DAY REPORT FROM THE BEACH!!!
Plenty fish were caught Sunday, but the bite was a little slow for some but on for others! It just depended on if you were in an area that had a little tide movement. Some anglers reported that the fish were a little spotty! 4-5 here, 3-4 there, one of those kind of things. Fish were caught in Lake Eugene, Stump Lagoon, and Muscle Bay areas. Also a mixed bag of trout, reds, drum and sheephead were caught by the rocks along the MRGO towards Lebeuf's Cut. All were caught using Campo's live shrimp under a popping cork!
Yesterday, we also had two guys run out to the second cement rig in Bay Eloi and catch 50 speckled trout on Campo's live shrimp! It was a one stop shop! I telling you, there are still plenty fish in Bay Eloi so if you can get out there, you will not regret it!
Today, the east shoreline produced plenty fish! Bayou Sue, Bayou St. Malo, Little Bayou, and Bayou Grande were all hot spots to be at today! The rocks in the MRGO by Lebeuf's Cut also produced plenty fish!
While I was on my way back from dredging oysters today, I saw two anglers by Pirates Point in Nine Mile Bay absolutely smoking the trout! I even slowed down to get a better and they knocking them pretty good!
The fish are out there boys so come on down and see us at the BEACH! At Campo's Marina, we have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the best live bait around! Come on down for some fast, friendly service and where you're not just customers, your family!
I just want to thank everyone for coming out to Campo's Marina this weekend! We had a great turn out! Also, if you get a chance to fish during the week we would like to see you Campo's!

WINDY, WINDY, WINDY at the BEACH!!!
Even with all the wind yesterday, we still had two charter captains that caught their limits of specs in Stump Lagoon. The Biloxi marsh is producing large amounts of fish no matter what the weather conditions! So y'all have got to come down and give it a shot!
Today, we only had one fisherman launch who managed to catch 10 specs in the pass between Bayou Laloutre and Stump Lagoon! He said that it was too cold and too windy so after 10 trout, he called it a day.
Hopefully the weather gets better for the weekend so you all can come on down and give it a shot at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! If you get a chance to fish during the week this week, we would really like to see you at Campo's! We have two backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the best live bait around! Just take all lefts from Paris Road and we are at the end of LA 46! To all of our regulars, we just want to thank you for you business and we welcome all new comers! Come on down and see us at the BEACH! We'll point you in the right direction!

Another GREAT day of fishing from the BEACH!!!
Today all of the anglers that left out of Campo's Marina caught plenty, plenty fish! We had alot of fishermen that caught limits of specs and reds with a mixed bag of drum, sheephead, and white trout! Today was just a great day to be fishing! The winds were light and fish were biting!
Fish were caught from Proctor's Point to the east shoreline to the Biloxi marsh! Spots such as Bayou Sue, Bayou St. Malo, Bayou Mussellini, Bayou Zig Zag, Stump Lagoon, Drum Hole, Pete's Lagoon, and Crooked Bayou all produced plenty fish! They practically caught fish everywhere today!
It was all in all a GREAT weekend of fishing!
PICTURE PERFECT DAY AT THE BEACH!!!
This morning when I arrived in Shell Beach, it was dead calm. I knew it was going to be a great day of fishing and that it what was! Plenty, plenty of fish were caught today!
Hot spot were close to Campo's Marina! The fort, old naval base, lakeshore towards Lebeof's Cut, and Proctor's Point all produced large amounts of specs and reds. The Biloxi marsh was also a great place to catch fish today!
All of the charter captains that left out of Campo's caught limits! Our recreational fishermen did not catch many limits, but they caught boxes full of specs, reds, drum, and sheephead! They definitely caught enough to stink up some Cirsco grease if you know what I mean!
Remember Y'all: no hustle, bustle! Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! Don't wait in long lines! For the time you waste waiting in line, you could fishing at Campo's! We have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the only live bait in town with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come on down and see us at Campo's Marina in Shell Beach where your not just customers, your family!
We appreciate your business!

AWESOME, AWESOME day of fishing at the BEACH!!!
Today when I arrived to Shell Beach, the wind was blowing about 25mph and I thought to myself, "Today is a day for people to clean out their sock drawers." But man was I wrong about that! I was surprised to see so many people fishing on a day of such windy conditions. At about 10am, the wind died down and the day turned out to be another great day of fishing! Although it was breezy pretty much all day, it did not affect the bite!
Anglers caught boxes of specs and reds in the Biloxi marsh. The main spots were the Stump Lagoon, Lake Engene, Redfish Bay, and Muscle Bay areas! The fishermen absolutely smoked the trout in these areas!
The fishing is just fantastic right now so you all have got to come down to Campo's Marina in Shell Beach! At Campo's, we have 2 backdowns, ice, gas, diesel, and the best live bait around! We have the only bait with the guarantee to catch fish or die trying! Come on down and see us at Campo's, where your not just customers, your family! I hope to see y'all in the morning!
We appreciate your business!
P.S. I just would like to recieve some feedback on the "Great Outdoors" talk show on 1560AM with Tommy Fly and Wade Gravias. I would really appreciate any feedback at all.
Thanks, The Campo's; Mabel, FJ, Michael, and Robert
