BETWEEN THE BANKS is the longest running outdoor show in Louisiana and Mississippi. The show has completed its 20th year with an unprecedented no re-run policy still intact, producing 52 new shows per year.

BETWEEN THE BANKS features freshwater, saltwater, and offshore editions that air weekly on Friday nights at 10 pm and repeats at 9:30 am Saturday mornings during outdoor prime-time. The main run of BETWEEN THE BANKS is now on Cox Sports Channel state wide however the show is aired on other stations and cable affiliates throughout Southeastern Louisiana totaling at least 20 airings per month. BETWEEN THE BANKS is filmed on 3-chip digital cameras and edited on 9000XL Avid non-linear editing equipment.

Bob Gourgues serves as the show's Executive Producer and host. He has been fishing over 45 years and has competed successfully on the B.A.S.S. Trail, Southern Kingfish Association Tournaments, World Billfish Series, and the IFA Redfish Tour, including many other tournaments and rodeos throughout his career. He is college educated in English and Broadcast Journalism and has worked and published for New York Times newspapers, Associated Press, NBC affiliates, and outdoor publications like Louisiana Sportsman. He presently is a featured monthly columnist for Marsh and Bayou Magazine and a weekly-featured writer on Rodnreel.com on the world wide web.
