We specialize in catching speckle trout, red fish and flounder.(Fish of Louisiana) View Larger Map  The Mississippi river delta is a huge area that takes in miles and miles of marsh land all the way from Empire, La. to approximately thirty miles below Venice, La. and ends where the Mississippi river enters the Gulf of Mexico.
We fish on both the east side and the west side, and sometimes directly in the Mississippi river.
 This river delta has some of the best fishing areas in this country. The Mississippi produces the richest nutrient around to create the best estuaries for reproducing fish and bait for fish.
Some of the popular baitfish are: shrimp, crabs, sand crabs, crawfish, river shrimp and poggies. The flow of large amounts of fresh water-mixing with the salt water of the Gulf produces some great fishing opportunities. Large amounts of speckled trout, red fish, white trout, flounder, black drum, sheep head, bass and some stripped bass are found in these areas.
 There is also a large variety of different types of fishing areas, canals, lakes, ponds, points, sand bars and oil rigs. We fish in shallow water, deep water, swift water and back water areas. All these types of fishing areas is what makes Venice Louisiana a very unique place to fish because it contains almost any type of fishing place there is!
